After a hiatus . . .

I'm back! So I got sick, and some stuff went down back home (anyone who's close to me knows what it is) but I'm finally back, and knitting more than ever. I've got a sweater design in the works (ask Alyoops about that, and yes sweetie, I ordered the yarn, it should get here in a few days), I'm knitting the Baroness Beret in this absolutely beautiful purple Jitterbug yarn (yes I do know it's a sock yarn, thank you very much), I picked up this gorgeous Frog Tree yarn in orange for my beau but it DOESN'T WANT TO BE SOCKS, no matter what I do, it refuses to cooperate. Otherwise, I'm sick, again, which is WAY not fun, I've been working my butt off, and my car enjoys not cooperating.

Alright. I'm off to down some more cold medicine and hopefully pass out for a while before class tomorrow.

So I finished Noam Chomsky's face, I think the pattern is pretty good, it will look better smaller in the socks rather than larger, but I think that overall the chart was successful. I'll post photos later when I manage to find the connection cable to my camera somewhere in the mess that is my dorm room.

So the Chomsky intarsia chart is done, I'm knitting it up hopefully the whole way tonight to see if it will work or if I have to tweak anything. I would have finished it last night but I spent most of las night working on my paper. On another note however, a friend and I may or may not be headed to Burbank for some yarn shopping and then off to Disneyland for a while. Our week long spring break will consist of four days or so in Cali and then some time at her place assuming her parents allow it, and even if they don't we'll find a way to finance the trip. Alright, I'm off to knit a Chomsky face!

Once upon a time . . .

. . . there lived a college freshman. She loved knitting, reading, language, art, video games, and well, the list of what she loved went on and on, but that is besides the point. This particular freshman was a philosophy major who loved integrating whatever she did in her work. She designed knitting patterns, made people she loved lots of socks, and generally just let her life go on. Soon, this college freshman discovered that people actually wanted to keep up with what she was doing, and thus, this page was born. Armed with her trusty digital camera in one hand and her DPNs in the other she proceeded to take over the world, or at least attempt to.
